I found this photo challenge site, and thought I would try out my attempts at landscapes, we have prairies, and wintery blue skies with snow, so there are challenges to my area to find interest in the flat landscape, and contrast in the skies and scenery. It is very exciting to see clouds in the sky or sunrise or sunset and something other than foggy days. There have been some exciting submissions to learn from already.

Glad you're joining us, CHIP! We do generally encourage everyone to shoot new stuff for each challenge, but no one will hate you for a past shot.

Welcome!

I am glad I found this photo challenge with this theme because I like landscape when it's natural. It's so fscinating!
I picked my photo from my archive but usually I use newly shots for my photochallenges.
Have a nice month!

I would have loved to take part in this but I'm afraid I live in Spalding part of the Fens ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fens ). I don't think I'll find anything round here. “A natural landscape is one that is unaffected by human activity" not a farmers field then.
I will have to wait for the next challenge I think.
Good luck to everyone else though.

P.S. I really love photochallenge.org. Thanks lads its got photography back on the agenda.

This will be a more difficult challenge, especially time wise getting out where I can find a clean landscape without any influence of man. I will admit to being a little disappointed because I was hoping for something more that I could work on creating in or around my home...but then I can accept the point of a challenge is getting me outside of what I was normally doing.

Hmmm... a good challenge, I think... especially for those of us who live in cities or suburban sprawl. I just had a quick scan through my flickr stream, and out of 532 images, I counted 6 that were landscape shots with nothing overtly man-made in them, and nearly all of those were from vacation spots, not here were I live.
Gotta get my thinking cap on for this, that's for sure...
